How does truSculpt iD work?
This aesthetic procedure takes a multi-dimensional approach to fat reduction and body sculpting. A precise, therapeutic temperature is delivered to the subcutaneous adipose tissue. Fat cells are targeted explicitly by the laser and damaged with heat. Once damaged, these unwanted fat cells will gradually leave the body over the next 12 weeks. Best of all, once these fat cells leave the body, they will not return!
When will I see results?
Right after the treatment, your body will start to break down and flush out the remnants of the fat cells that have been treated, which begins the reduction in the treated area’s circumference.* Everyone is different, but most people see noticeable results a few months after being treated.*
1-3 treatments are generally recommended for a BMI (body mass index) of less than 30.* You should see results after one treatment, although a second or third treatment may be necessary for further debulking and sculpting.*
Do the treatments hurt?
No, and most of our clients tell us that the procedure feels like a hot stone massage. The handpieces are placed on the treatment area, and the temperature of the skin will rise but should remain comfortable for the duration of the treatment.
Will I need recovery time?
No. This is a noninvasive procedure, and you’ll be able to resume your normal activities right after the treatment. You may feel some tenderness in the treatment area right after the treatment but will subside within a day or two.
Are there any side effects?
After your treatment, there may be some slight tenderness for a day or two as mentioned above. The area will appear red and will be warm to the touch for a few hours. There is a slight possibility of minimal bruising or formation of small nodules under the skin within the treated area; however, these are only temporary, if they occur at all.
Am I a candidate for truSculpt fat reduction?
