How can dermal fillers help me?
Dermal fillers are safe, injectable treatments that can restore lost volume to the hands. If your hands are not as plump as they used to be and veins are more noticeable, fillers may be the perfect treatment for you. Before your treatment, we will numb the injection spot so that you won’t feel any discomfort or pain. Then, using a fine needle, we will inject hyaluronic acid formulas under the skin to add volume. Hyaluronic acid is a safe, naturally-occurring substance in the body. Treatments provide instant plumpness to the hands, but as with any filler treatment, eventually, the formula will dissolve.
Fillers can last up to 1 year or longer, though this largely depends on how quickly your body metabolizes the product. We recommended that you come back for repeated treatments to maintain your results.
How can ICON laser treatments help me?
If you have age spots (those small brown spots) on your hands, we recommend ICON laser treatments. The ICON laser system is perfect for revitalizing the skin. Your hands will look noticeably younger without surgery or downtime. ICON treatments rely on light energy, which is absorbed into targeted cells in the skin. The light energy is converted to heat, which breaks down the pigmentation of age spots and speeds up cell turnover.*
ICON treatments only last about 30 minutes. We recommend more than one session to achieve the best results. The side effects are minor and typically include a sunburn-like sensation. Most patients can resume their normal activities immediately following in-office treatments.
How can Exilis Ultra skin tightening help me?
If your hands experience skin laxity or looseness, Exilis Ultra skin tightening treatments are the way to go. Like ICON, Exilis Ultra is a non-invasive laser treatment. Instead of light energy, Exilis Ultra uses radiofrequency (RF) and high-frequency ultrasound energies. When combined, this technology stimulates collagen production, resulting in contouring and smoothing of trouble areas.
Exilis Ultra provides firm, younger-looking skin from the first treatment.* We usually recommend 4 to 6 treatment sessions scheduled at 7-10 day intervals for optimal results. Each treatment session lasts between 20 and 30 minutes. For most patients, results are visible from the first treatment session. You will continue to observe improvements throughout the treatment and follow-up period.
